Shell + Parts for sale

Well it's time to swap my engine into a nice new shell so the 16-valve shell, plus limited parts, is up for sale.

What's included?
1984 205 1.6 GTi shell, white, seam welded and re-enforced/plated in the right parts, 6-pt welded-in cage with additional pointing on A and B pillars. Roof vent included. Front screen and side/rear poly screens included, lightened bootlid, front/rear bumpers, side and arch trims, standard steel bonnet, doors and rear lights included. Dashboard moulding and steering column/door locks included, co-driver foot brace, plus the (modified) wiring loom and standard switchgear, plus spare wheel carrier. Log booked. Little bit of tax left over too.

What's not included?
Well, the simple answer is "everything else"! No engine, subframes, suspension, brakes, ARBs, exhaust, tank guards, sump guard, seats, harnesses, extinguisher system, piping, ancillaries, battery, exhaust, trip meter, fly-off handbrake, steering wheel, pedal box, master cylinders, gear linkage, rev counter, ECU, fuel pumps, swirl pot + tank, wheels, tyres, non-standard switchgear, strut brace, fuel tank, etc.

When?
It's not stripped yet but can be ready in a few weeks.

How much?
£950, no offers. Can arrange delivery at fuel expense if required.

What about other bits I would need to build it into a full car?
Some other bits are available at additional cost.

I have a complete set of front Bilstein uprights, tarmac springs, forest inserts, eccentric top mounts, uprated top bearings - £750 no offers
Numerous parts from the donor car for the new build :-
1600 GTi 8v engine and gearbox (plus all ancillaries e.g. inlet manifold, alternator, ECU, rad, etc)
Standard front subframe, suspension, brakes
Standard rear subframe, arms, brakes (drums)
Wheels & tyres
Interior trim

Most parts negotiable on price depending upon how much you're having off it ;-) ! £2k would secure the shell and running gear to make it into a rolling shell again (but you'd still need competition items like seats, extinguisher and harnesses).

The donor car is unstripped also, so if you're interested in the engine/box then it would be ideal to act now as the car is driveable.

Lots of advice and guidance ready to help you build it up if you're setting out afresh.
